A little while ago I wrote about Indochino, a company that says it makes custom suits at great prices. Well, we measured, ordered and got a suit! They held up on their promise to pay for customs, shipping and tailoring ($75 worth) and the quality of the suit was really quite good! The fit, on the other hand, was a bit questionable, however the benefit was that it was too big! Part of this was on the part of Indochino, as they do add or remove an inch depending on your specs, but the issues with the pants was our fault because we entered his waist measurements incorrectly.
The tailor insisted the quality of the suit construction and fabric was really quite good and that we had gotten a really great deal, even with the tailoring expenses.
Cost to order the suit: $230 CDN
Tailoring costs: $145 ($220 CDN - $75 from Indochino's refund)
Total cost of suit: $375 CDN, but it fits like a glove.
All in all, a fun experience and I would definitely consider it again!
